    Global Human Resource Centre is hiring Automotive Handlers on behalf of our client in Scarborough. Candidates will safely, efficiently and professionally handle the shipping and receiving of new and used automobiles. These positions are offering full-time hours with some overtime required during busy periods.


    • Unloading/loading new and used vehicles on multi-level railcars
    • Shuttling new and used vehicles within an auto compound
    • Applying and removing securement devices to/from vehicles while on a railcar
    • Lifting and installing steel bridge plates on railcars
    • Visual inspections of vehicles for damage
    • Inventory control using handheld computer
    • Other duties as required


    • Must be fluent in English to comprehend directions/instructions
    • Must be able to climb ladders up to approximately 14 feet
    • Must be able to work in confined spaces as small as 5 feet high
    • Must be able to lift 40lbs comfortably
    • Must be comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather and summer conditions
    • Position requires combination of standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, kneeling and crouching
    • Must have good eye sight, depth perception and colour vision
    • Must be available to work some overtime including weekends
    • Must work well in a team


    • Valid Driver’s Licence and Clean Abstract required
    • Must be able to drive standard transmission
    • Experience in the operation of oversized equipment would be an asset
    • Basic computer skills an asset

    RATE OF PAY: $15.00 per hour
