    Our client in Port Hope is hiring multiple Production Workers for their hatchery. The hatchery is responsible for producing and shipping day old chicks. They are looking for reliable and motivated candidates comfortable working with live animals. To be considered, candidates must be available to work all shifts as the hatchery run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with various functions throughout.



    • Working on an agricultural line handling chicks and/or eggs
    • Transferring eggs from incubators to hatchers
    • Housekeeping and cleanup duties as directed by the crew leader
    • Maintain all Health and Safety standards
    • Other tasks and duties as required



    • Must be comfortable with repetitive motions including bending, lifting, and turning
    • Able to lift 50lbs+
    • Able to work as part of a team
    • Comfortable dealing with live animals
    • Available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
    • No allergies or asthma



    • Clear criminal record check
    • Clear Agriculture and Media Exchange
    • No interactions with chickens or turkeys during off time
    • Reliable transportation with G Licence is preferred


    HOURS OF WORK: Start times are 5:25am or 1:00pm
    20-40 hours per week

    RATE OF PAY: $15.12 per hour to start
