Our client is looking for a Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This company specializes in the design, fabrication and installation of branded environments. They build environments and elements that range from POP displays and digital kiosks to trade show exhibits, museum interiors, and retail environments. The ideal candidate will have fabrication experience in industrial, commercial and institutional projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:• Complete involvement in the project cycle from design concept and development to product research and specifications• Work with the sales team and clients to determine project requirements• Establish critical paths and key milestones for projects• Communicate with suppliers to determine costs and source materials• Prepare cost estimates for projects• Review shop and installation drawings with the assistance of Detailers and Production Manager• Prepare material take-offs• Issue purchase orders, prepare and monitor shop and sub trade production• Track project costs• Assemble all costs required for job closing• Prepare change orders• Actively contribute and help to structure the department• Complete any other assignments deemed necessary by management
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:• Project Management experience• Experience in the retail fixture, exhibit or related industry is an asset• Fluent in English – verbal and written• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Skilled in negotiations and time management• Able to manage several projects at a time• Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized• Able to work independently and as part of a team• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel• Experience in fabrication is an asset
