Wood Treatment Workers

Global Human Resource Centre is hiring Wood Treatment Workers on behalf of our client in Peterborough. This position is full-time and may become permanent for the right candidates. Candidates must be available to work day and afternoon shifts with some required overtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Fabricating pressure treated fencing and other wood products
• Operating saws and drying machines
• Piling and transferring wood products
• Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience with carpentry tools required (saws, air nail guns, hand tools etc.)
• Secondary School diploma preferred
• Forklift operating experience is an asset
• Must be comfortable with physically demanding work
• Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and doing frequent bending
• Candidates must wear CSA approved safety footwear
• Valid driver’s licence and access to vehicle preferred

HOURS: Monday-Friday (days and afternoons)
Some overtime may be required

RATE OF PAY: $18.00 – $19.25
