We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Analyst to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles, as well as proficiency in accounting software. This position is a contract position lasting 6-12 months.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to established policies.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
• Execute account reconciliation tasks to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Utilize accounting software to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances against actual performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required (CPA is preferred).
• Proven experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software applications.
• Experience with financial auditing processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
