We are seeking reliable and dedicated On Call Delivery Drivers to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. The Driver will also assist with heavy lifting and moving of products, ensuring that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory for all positions.
• Experience in commercial driving or related fields is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
