Staffing Coordinator
GHRC is dedicated to providing top-tier staffing solutions that empower businesses to achieve their goals. We are seeking a highly motivated Staffing Coordinator to join our team and lead our Eastern division.
The Staffing Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing staffing operations to ensure our workforce meets the company’s needs and standards. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with outstanding organizational and communication skills to manage recruitment, employee relations, HR processes, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Selection: Manage full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, applicant screening, interview arrangements, background checks, and onboarding.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to address recruitment needs and propose staffing solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies and applicable legislation such as the ESA and Human Rights Code.
- Training: Provide job specific, in-house training to employees and monitor on site performance.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system (HRIS).
- Payroll Assistance: Collect, review, and process employee timesheets, and collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate compensation.
- Staffing Reports: Prepare and submit detailed staffing operation reports to management.
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary School (high school) diploma required; a degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources is an asset.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and ATS (applicant tracking system) or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational and multitasking abilities

Rate of Pay: $47,000 – $50,000 per year
