We are seeking a dynamic and personable Food & Beverage Event Attendant to join our client’s event team. The Food & Beverage Event Attendant supports the smooth operation of food and beverage service during events. This role assists with food preparation, concession service, deliveries, stocking, and bar support as needed. The employee is expected to provide friendly, efficient customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, portioning, packaging, and serving.
• Operate the concession stand and provide courteous customer service.
• Stock and replenish food, beverages, supplies, and service areas.
• Deliver food, beverages, and supplies to event areas as required.
• Support bartenders and bar staff with stocking, setup, cleanup, and service duties.
• Assist with alcohol service during occasional licensed events in accordance with Smart Serve requirements.
• Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions using Square when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation, concession, and service areas.
• Follow food safety, health and safety, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Assist with event setup, teardown, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Smart Serve certification required.
• Previous food service, concession, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry food, beverages, and supplies.
• Flexible availability on weekends and occasional special events.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices is an asset.
