We are currently seeking a skilled, dependable Hook Lift / Heavy Equipment Driver to support our client’s demolition and construction team on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week). This role is ideal for retired or semi-retired drivers who are looking to stay active, contribute their experience, and work flexible hours without the demands of full-time work.

The position involves operating company vehicles and equipment at various residential and construction sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Your experience and professionalism will play a key role in maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hook lift trucks and commercial vehicles to transport bins, materials, and equipment
• Maneuver and operate equipment in residential and tight job site environments
• Assist with loading, unloading, and positioning of materials using heavy equipment
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation
• Support the crew with light general labor tasks as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with team members and clients

Qualifications

• Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
• Previous experience operating hook lift trucks, trailers, or heavy equipment
• Background in construction, demolition, or similar environments
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• A team-first attitude with a willingness to lend a hand where needed
• Strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic
