Hydraulic Parts Business Development Executive

Job description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hydraulic Parts Business Development Executive to join our client’s team to develop and support new client growth and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will utilize their vast hydraulic, hosing and pneumatic parts knowledge to oversee new lead development, prepare quotes, and assist with order fulfillment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to business growth through effective sales strategies using a strong knowledge base of the hydraulic parts industry. This position is a salary + commission eligibility role.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your strong knowledge of hydraulic hose, fittings and connector products to increase new and current client accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors through negotiation and business development efforts.
  • Oversee account management activities, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently and professionally.
  • Participate in the full sales cycle; develop new leads, convert prospects, prepare quotes, process orders and assist with order picking and fulfillment.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to streamline operations, resolve issues, and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a deep understand of hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
  • Ability to interpret system schematics, circuit diagrams and component specifications.
  • Confident troubleshooting skills for hose failures, fitting mismatches, flow issues and system inefficiencies.
  • Ability to translate customer symptoms into root-cause analysis and product recommendations.
  • Proven experience in parts management or related roles within the hydraulic, pipe fitting, or related sectors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Excellent account management capabilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage quotes, orders, follow-ups and inventory coordination.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
