We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Part-Time DZ Driver to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience operating a forklift, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and following all safety regulations.

This position is approximately three days per week, with the opportunity for additional hours and full-week schedules during vacation and holiday coverage periods. Flexibility to work additional days when required is essential. Initial training will be conducted on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate DZ licensed vehicles for local deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary (some manual unloading required)
• Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit
• Verify materials during loading and unloading to ensure order accuracy
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during delivery
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and issues

Qualifications

• Valid DZ license with a clean driving record (provided by applicant prior to selection)
• Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
• Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
• Ability to lift and move material with a strong attention to safety protocols and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with shift coverage
