We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Operator to join our client’s dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery, ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion line production equipment with efficiency and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for machine operations and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production targets while adhering to safety standards.
• Handle materials efficiently, including packaging and fabrication tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in the manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Previous factory experience or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience with hand tools, tooling, machining, and basic math skills for measurements is essential.
• Knowledge of materials handling processes within a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and available for MAD shift rotation.
