We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver / Customer Service Representative to join our client’s bakery team. In this role, you will deliver bakery products to established customers throughout Trenton and the surrounding area while providing excellent service, taking customer orders, and identifying sales opportunities along your route. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, building relationships with customers, and working independently in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bakery products to grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, and other customer locations.
• Load and unload products using a hand truck and/or pallet jack.
• Take customer orders and sell products while servicing the assigned route.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing customers.
• Provide friendly, professional, and dependable customer service.
• Collect and accurately handle customer payments, including cash.
• Ensure deliveries and related paperwork are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organized and safe delivery vehicle.
• Perform basic vehicle upkeep and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow company procedures and safe work practices while loading, driving, and making deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario full G driver’s licence.
• Clean driving record; a driver’s abstract may be requested during the interview process.
• Comfortable driving a company-provided cube van.
• Ability to lift and carry loads and perform regular manual loading and unloading.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable handling cash and customer payments.
• Ability to work independently and manage an assigned delivery route.
• English language proficiency required.
• Previous delivery, route sales, customer service, or sales experience is considered an asset.
